A Dash of Red - And an Alternative.
Today I'm showing you two ways to style the same basic outfit, from day to night or night to day, from casual chic to chic casual. With a dash or red. And then an alternative.
Day to Night, Night to Day, Casual chic, Chic casual
This is a look I wore for a night out last Sunday. We headed into town for celebrating the birthday of a friend. And since it was easy to do, I thought I'd show you how quickly this kind of outfit can be transformed by only changing the shoes and the bag.
For actually going out I used the dressier and more glam red shoes. The location was a restaurant. Using the slip-ons and blue clutch instead, you create a casual vibe perfect for most daytime activities, but if you wanted you could also wear it to the movies or a low key dinner.
Likewise, the red ankle booties and bigger bag do work during day as well, depending on what you are dressing up for, because thanks to the sweater top and the, in my opinion, slightly casual cut of the pants (which at the same time are also chic thanks to details) the outfit doesn't ever vibe "overdressed".

By the way: Culottes aren't going anywhere, any time soon. Or maybe I should say, they'll be back. Definitely.

Sicuramente.

Sicherlich.
