Rectangle, Triangle, Circle - Talking Accessories Again, I am with Coco

We already talked about this last week. I am not into overly heavy accessorizing. I don't do big arm parties, I rarely layer necklaces and often enough my earrings are small and dainty. Iris Apfel I ain't. You could say, that instead I go with Coco on this one. Or the quote attributed to her:

"Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take one thing off"

That said, I do absolutely love to browse for jewelry or other accessories and this is were Born Pretty comes in. They have a huge selection and range of products and it was thus a challenge to stick with curating instead of hauling (following my 5 questions for shopping), especially because the prices really are small and not just printed small.

In the end, I've not been disappointed with the products I've picked out. Mine were true to the images and are well made. The necklace I am wearing here survived my son, so that's that. Surviving handling by my son is a distinct quality items in this household should have.

Non sono il tipo dei tanti accessori. Non organizzo party grandi sul mio braccio, non metto quasi mai più di una collana e i miei orecchini sono spesso piccoli e graziosi. Non sono Iris Apfel. Sto con Coco, o almeno la citazione attribuita a lei:

"Prima di andare fuori casa, guarda nello specchio e togli una cosa"

Nonostante ami guardare i gioielli (bigiotteria) e accessori e questo è il punto dove entra Born Pretty. Born Pretty ha un'ampia selezione in tante categorie ed è stato difficile non raccogliere tutto e invece scegliere con cura (sempre tenendo conto delle 5 Domande da porsi durante lo shopping). Anche perché i prezzi sono veramente piccoli e non solo perché scritti in minuscolo.

Alla fine non ero delusa dai gioielli che avevo scelto. Erano esattamente quello che mi aspettavo, dopo aver visto le foto e sono di buona qualità. La collana che porto qui è sopravvissuta a  mio figlio, una qualità molto desiderata negli oggetti, in questa casa.

Ich bin nicht der Typ der der viele Accessoires auf einmal traegt. Ich veranstalte keine grossen Armparties, ich trage selten mehr als eine Kette und meine Ohrringe sind meisstens eher klein und zierlich. Iris Apfel bin ich nicht. Da halte ich es eher mit Coco, oder zumindest dem Zitat, dass Ihr zugeschrieben wird:

"Bevor Du das Haus verlaesst, schau in den Spiegel und ziehe ein Accessoire aus."

Trotzdem liebe ich es nach (Mode-)Schmuck und anderen Accessoires zu stoebern und das ist der Punkt wo Born Pretty ins Spiel kommt. Die haben eine Riesenauswahl an Kategorien und Produkten und ich musste mich echt zusammenreissen hier nicht zu haulen, auch weil die Preise wirklich klein sind und nicht nur kleingeschrieben werden.

Am Ende war ich nicht enttaeuscht mit meiner Auswahl. Die Produkte waren das, was ich von den Bildern her erwartet habe und sie sind von angemessener Qualitaet. Die Halskette die ich hier anhabe hat meinen Sohn ueberlebt, was eine erwuenschenswerte Eigenschaft fuer Gegenstaende in diesem Haushalt ist.
