Sparkle and Mirrors - Sequins for Sunday
We had a wonderful Sunday about two weeks ago and we used the occasion for a little Sunday family trip to the Lake. This was the first time this year I wore short sleeves, with sequins nonetheless, for some extra sparkle in honor of the sun. Unfortunately by now, adhering to April's un-predictiveness, we are back to long sleeves and jacket. Brrrr.

The top I'm wearing here is from SheInside. I had been contemplating getting something with sparkle for everyday wear for awhile already, and this pretty much fit the bill. It has just about the right amount in the right places. Why yes, as a (former) WoW player "shiny" shoulder pieces come natural to me.
Jokes aside, I think I'll get some good use out of this, be it for more casual day dressing like here, or be it for "party" wear.

Abbiamo avuto una splendida Domenica circa due settimane fa e abbiamo colto l'occasione per fare una piccola gita al lago. Era la prima volta quest'anno che portavo le maniche corte, pure con le paillettes, per rendere omaggio allo splendido sole. Purtroppo adesso, in linea con l'imprevidibilità di Aprile, siamo tornati a maniche lunghe e giacca.
La maglietta che porto qui è di SheInside. Avevo pensato da un po' di tempo di prendere qualcosa con di brillante per l'outfit di ogni giorno e questo si avvicinava alla mia idea originale. Ha proprio la quantità adatta di paillettes e cristalli nei punti giusti. Ebbene sì, come (ex) giocatrice di WoW, le spalle vistose e splendide sono una cosa naturale per me.
Scherzi a parte, credo che lo userò tantissimo, sia più casual come lo vedete qui, sia più formale, per modo di dire, un look da "party".

Wir hatten vor zwei Wochen einen wettermaessig supertollen Sonntag und die Gelegenheit haben wir gleich fuer einen Familienausflug zum See genutzt. Hatte das erste Mal in diesem Jahr ein Shirt mit kurzen Aermeln an, noch dazu mit Pailletten und Kristallen besetzt, um zu Ehren der Sonne auch zu scheinen. Leider sind wir mittlerweile, getreu dem April der macht was er will, wieder zurueck zu Langarm und Jacke. Brrrrrr.
Das T-Shirt ist von SheInside. Ich hatte ja schon seit laengerem (heimlich) mit dem Gedanken gespielt mir auch irgendein Glitzerdings fuer tagsueber zuzulegen, und das hier passt gut in mein Beuteschema bzw. persoenlichen Stil. Es hat genau die richtige Art und Anzahl und Position an Glanz, Pailletten und Kristallen. Ach ja, als (ehemalige) WoW Spielerin sind Blickfang-Schultern sowieso etwas ganz natuerliches.
Spass beiseite, ich glaube das Tee werde ich oft anhaben. Ist gut tagsueber und casual zu tragen, wie Ihr hier sehen koennt, ich kann es mir aber auch sehr gut fuer abends und eine eher "Party"-maessigen Look vorstellen. Und fuer die Disse, wuerde ich da noch hingehen.
