Capsule Wardrobe Experiment #1 - Travel & Star Wars Force Awakens

Hello! I hope you all enjoyed the holidays, whatever form they take for you. We've had "big family" meals here in the last two days, so excuse the silence.

As far as the capsule wardrobe experiment goes, things are going great so far, just a few days in. However, I'm travelling so the wardrobe is even more restricted. On the upside, having had the whole capsule planned out already in advance, packing was a breeze. I don't think I've ever been done so fast. On the down side, my new coloured leggings didn't arrive yet. And it is way warmer than anticipated.

Here's what I wore for the travel and then to go watch Star Wars VII with the hubby. We went to see it in original version, that is in English, at the cinema in Landstuhl.

For the movie night I wore grey skinnies, my grey sweater cardigan, biker booties, the padded vest and subtle geekery in the form of a constellation scarf.

For the trip from Italy to Germany I had been wearing the grey skinnies, my sweater dress, the fringe cardigan. Both very relaxed and comfortable looks. I've not worn the fringe cardi since, it's just too darn warm here. Where is my snow?

The sweater dress is a very good choice for a capsule (or travelling) wardrobe, since it can be worn as stand alone with tights, or as here over the skinnies or over both the leggings which are also part of my list.

Hallo! Ich hoffe Ihr habt Eure Feiertage genossen, wie auch immer Ihr sie verbracht habt. Wir hatten zwei Tage lange grosses Familienessen, entschuldigt also bitte meine Stille.

Was die Capsule Garderobe angeht, es laeuft gut bisher, so in den ersten paar Tagen. Allerdings bin ich zur Zeit auf Reisen, weswegen alles noch eingeschraenkter ist. Eine Capsule in der Capsule, so zu sagen. Das Positive daran ist, dass es mit dem Packen dieses Mal super einfach war, hatte ich doch schon vorher beschlossen, was ich in der Zeit tragen darf. Ein negativer Punkt zur Zeit ist, dass meine bunten Leggings noch nicht angekommen sind. Und das es hier sehr viel waermer als erwartet ist.

Hier zeige ich Euch, was ich fuer die Reise trug und was ich anhatte um mir Star Wars Teil VII anzuschauen. Wir haben uns den Film in der Originalversion, dass heisst auf Englisch angeguckt, da mein Mann fuer die deutsche Version noch nicht trainiert genug ist. Beides mal sehr einfache und sehr komfortable Outfits. Die Fransenstrickjacke hatte ich bisher nicht wieder an, es ist einfach viel zu warm hier. Wo bitte bleibt mein Schnee?

Ich finde das Strickkleid eine sehr gute Wahl fuer ein Capsule (oder Reise-) Garderobe, das man es eben alleine (mit Strumpfhosen) oder eben wie hier ueber Skinny Jeans oder aber ueber Leggings anziehen kann.
