The Gardens at Castello Quistini
This was the first excursion we did with my parents. It was just a quick trip really, as they were still recovering from a long, several hours road trip. Doing the same trip twice a year myself, I know just how drained you are after doing nothing for hours but sitting in a car. And yes, even with pauses and trying to stay entertained & engaged.
Castle Quistini is located at Rovato, a small town in the Franciacorta which is the region to the west of Brescia. The gardens are open to public visit during some periods of the year and they also have a space where they host wedding receptions and similar.
Through out the garden, which is kept, but not overly so, and the area ment for receptions, there are these sculptures made out of upcycled materials. All in all it is a very charming and wonderous place.
The outfit is just a quick "toss something on" manouver, as we decided on short notice to head there. Infact, my hair is a bit awkward as well.
