I choose my graphic t-shirts or sweaters, according to whether the message or picture on them speaks to me in some form (and who doesn't, really?). Well, actually, I do that for jewelry too, but today, we are talking about printed on tops.

Wake Up And Live. It is astonishing, to what extent we can sleep, even when our eyes are open and we are seemingly wide awake. Yet our mind is so trapped in endless thought chatter, endless tasks, endless distractions, endless comparison and the rat race of ever faster, higher, further that in reality, very few are living fully. In the present moment. We are often either in the past (as also Zaz pointed out this week) or in some hypothetical future, when we finally can start to live because we arrived at having achieved "X". Whatever that may be for you.


So this sweatshirt is my reminder, for myself and anyone who reads it, to wake up. Stop. Smell the flowers. Feel the sun, wind, rain, snow on your skin. And life. Your life. Now.

Ich kaufe meine sogenannten "graphic print" T- oder Sweatshirts wenn mich entweder die Nachricht oder das Bild darauf ansprechen. Okay, ich mach das auch mit Schmuck so, aber heute reden wir ueber bedruckte Oberteile.

"Wache Auf Und Lebe". Es ist erstaunlich, wie oft wir schlafen, selbst wenn unsere Augen offen sind und wir scheinlich wach sind. Und doch ist unser Geist oft so gefangen in endlosem gedanklichem Geplapper, endlosen Aufgaben, endlosen Ablenkungen, endlosem Vergleich und dem Rattenrennen das uns nach immer Schneller, Hoeher, Weiter eifern laesst, dass wenige wirklich leben. Jetzt. In diesem Moment. Wir stecken oft in der Vergangenheit (ob gut oder boese) oder in einer hypothetischen Zukunft, in der alles Gut wird, wenn wir doch nur endlich "X" haben.

Dieses Sweatshirt ist eine Erinnerung, fuer mich, aber auch fuer alle die es lesen, aufzuwachen. Halt. Rieche die Blumen. Fuehle die Sonne, den Wind, den Regen, den Schnee auf Deiner Haut. Und lebe. Dein Leben. Jetzt.
