Light, breezy & blue

Monte Isola

Around came the first really hot weekend here in Italy. We went to Monte Isola, an island in the Iseo Lake. The idea was to do the hike all around said island. Then came the first steep climb and we had to change plans because our son could not keep up. It was just too hot under the sun.

E' arrivato il primo weekend davvero caldo qui in Italia. Siamo andati a Monte Isola, un'isola nel Lago d'Iseo. L'idea era di fare una camminata tutto intorno all'isola. Arrivati alla prima salita impervia abbiamo dovuto cambiare piano, in quanto nostro figlio non teneva il passo. Faceva semplicemente troppo caldo sotto il sole.












A satin tank top with foulard print and a pair of knee length culottes that I found last summer at a flea market. Light, breezy and blue. Yes, I really love that color. Maybe because I firmly believe it is the one that suits me best. I also love flea markets. Diving in and getting lost for hours on the mission to uncover gems and hidden treasures.

I will certainly give this outfit another go with a pair of heeled sandals and less casual accessories sometime in the near future.

Un top in raso con stampa foulard e un paio di culottes (gonna pantalone) lunghezza ginocchio che ho trovato l'estate scorsa ad un mercato delle pulci. Un outfit leggero, arioso e blu. Si, io adoro veramente quel colore. Forse perchè credo proprio che quello sia il colore che mi sta meglio. Inoltre amo i mercati delle pulci. Tuffarmi all'interno e perdermi per ore con lo scopo di cercare gemme e tesori nascosti.

Sicuramente riproverò questo outfit presto, per abbinarlo con un paio di sandali a tacco alto e accessori meno casual.
