Easy but not too casual




This heart print wrap blouse was one of the three things I had ordered to be delivered to my parents home (I talked about that here ). It premiered in ocassion of a meet up with an old friend of mine. I've known her since the German equivalent of high school.

For this "easy but not too casual" look I've paired the new black and white shirt with black skinny pants and my blue ballet flats. The blouse comes with long sleeves, which I rolled up because of the temperatures. You could (and I might) also easily wear it with a top beneath to create a higher sitting neckline.

After the icecream, I had my first taste of thrifting.

Questa blusa con stampa a cuori era una delle tre cose che avevo ordinato con consegna a casa dei miei (ve ne ho parlato qui ). Faceva la sua prima apparizione in occasione dell'incontro con una mia vecchia amica, che conosco fin dai giorni della scuola superiore.

 Per questo look "facile, ma non troppo casual", ho indossato la nuova camicia bianca e nera con dei pantaloni skinny in nero e le mie ballerine blu. La blusa ha delle maniche lunghe, però qui le ho arrotolate a causa della temperatura. Potete (e forse lo farò) anche combinarla con un top sotto, per non avere la scollatura così ampia.

Diese Herzchen-Wickel-Bluse war eines der drei Teile, die ich bestellt und zu meinen Eltern habe schicken (habe hier davon erzaehlt) lassen. Sie hatte Ihren ersten Einsatz, als ich mich mit einer langjaehrigen Freundin, die ich seit dem Gymnasium kenne auf ein Eis getroffen habe.

Fuer diesen "einfachen, aber nicht zu casual" Look habe ich das neue schwarz weisse Oberteil mit schwarzen Skinny Hosen und meinen blauen Ballerinas kombiniert. Die Bluse hat eigentlich lange Aermel, die habe ich aber auf Grund der Temperaturen an dem Tag hochgekrempelt. Man koennte die (und ich mache das eventuell auch) gut auch mit einem Top darunter tragen, um den Ausschnitt etwas zu verkleinern.

Nach dem Eis gab es dann eine erste Probe in Sachen "thrifting".

    Oh, yes, please! Lots to love about this outfit. I avoid hearts as a theme, but this print could be an exception! Especially worn with sleek leather trousers, completely avoiding the saccharine . (As my age, there are a few things like hearts and tiny flower prints that really don't flatter sometimes. As you show, styling is everything. I don't ever mind adjusting my opinion if there's a good lesson to note! ) Nice drape, but not too much fabric and the cut is a great, body skimming proportion. You're quite right; it would work well with layers for winter. You are having such a good hair day, too! Last but not least ... I've never seen anyone wear green mascara well, but your discreet approach is completely beautiful.
